Political Bias Inside the Library of Congress
The Library of Congress has partisan bias
Carla Hayden and Shira Perlmutter sit atop the Library of Congress as the 14th Librarian and the 14th Register of Copyrights, and both have shown a bias towards Democratic causes and candidates.
Hayden – a nominee of President Barack Obama – was appointed to the position of librarian in 2016, and since then she has used the Library of Congress to promote left-wing initiatives. Hayden has promoted LGBTQ+ pride exhibits, shown support for allowing children to read books on sexual identity, and has held meetings with anti-Trump historians.
Shira Perlmutter was appointed to head the Copyright Office in 2020 by Hayden and it was done to the applaud of anti-Trump radical Jerry Nadler. Perlmutter has a history of supporting Democratic candidates through donations, including to Hillary Clinton in 2016. Shira Perlmutter comes from a Democratic family and her sister is a radical anti-Trump leftist.
