MEMORANDUM:
Carla Hayden and Shira Perlmutter sit atop the Library of Congress as the 14th Librarian and the 14th Register of Copyrights, and both have shown a bias towards Democratic causes and candidates.
Hayden – a nominee of President Barack Obama – was appointed to the position of librarian in 2016, and since then she has used the Library of Congress to promote left-wing initiatives. Hayden has shown support for allowing children to read books on sexual identity and has held meetings with anti-Trump historians.
Shira Perlmutter was appointed to head the Copyright Office in 2020 by Hayden and it was done to the applaud of anti-Trump radical Jerry Nadler. Perlmutter has a history of supporting Democratic candidates through donations, including to Hillary Clinton in 2016. Shira Perlmutter comes from a Democratic family and her sister is a radical anti-Trump leftist.
It is for the Trump Administration to rid the Library of Congress of its partisan bias.
